Walk and candle lighting for suicide prevention upcoming

NEWARK — Mental Health America of Licking County will hold a 5K walk and candlelight vigil at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Rotary Pavilion on Sharon Valley Road.

T-shirts will be available for the first 100 people registered for the walk. There will be information on suicide prevention, a time for people to share experiences and candles to light in honor of lost loved ones.

Donations will also be accepted to help MHALC’s suicide prevention programs.
