Christin Peña

Christin Peña is the Youth Self Advocacy Coordinator and YES Club Activities Coordinator. She has worked in many areas of the healthcare industry for more than 12 years.

She began her career with the Department of Aging, helping patients with their medical needs, from day-to-day care and wellbeing to doctor visits to administering medications. She was also responsible for managing their medical spending, including insurance claims, out-of-pocket costs and pharmaceuticals.

Most recently, she devoted her time to making residents of New Beginnings, a domestic violence/crisis center, feel safe and comfortable.

Christina is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. A few of her favorite things include spending time with her amazing family of five sons and a daughter, cooking, baking and Legos—lots and lots of Legos.
