YES Club, MHA to show #NewarkLove

YES Club, a program of Mental Health America of Licking County is working with the South Newark Civic Association and other community members to plan an event called #NewarkLove on Feb. 6.

The groups are collecting new or gently used scarves, hats and gloves, which will be placed on trees in the southwest corner of the Licking County Courthouse Square and Railroad Street in the south end of Newark, for those in need to take.

Donations are needed and can be dropped of at YES Club, 100 E. Church St., Newark by Feb. 5. Tags with inspirational messages will be attached to the items.

#NewarkLove will begin at 3:30 on Feb. 6 at YES Club and items will remain in the trees until Feb. 17. The event is open to anyone who would like to help.
