Our Vision, Mission and Goals
The Vision of MHA is of a just, humane and healthy society in which all people are accorded respect, dignity, and the opportunity to achieve their full potential free from stigma and prejudice.
The Mission of Mental Health America of Licking County is to promote good mental health, wellness and achieve victory over mental illness.
The Goals of MHA are:
- To work on integrating physical health with mental health using the following statement, "There is no health without mental health."
- To advocate on behalf of persons with mental illnesses.
- To improve and provide consumer and family support services.
- To build "developmental" assets in youth.
- To educate the community on all aspects of mental health.
- To provide prevention, recognition, and early intervention programs.
- To eradicate stigma!
