Bailey joined the YES Club as Activities Coordinator after recently moving to Newark with her husband. Before that, she lived in Columbus, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from The Ohio State University.
After graduation, Bailey spent a year in the AmeriCorps, coordinating a hands-on cooking and nutrition class for food-insecure residents of Central Ohio. Her experience in mental health and working with youth come from her internship with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Washington DC and Assistant Nutrition Director of the Columbus Freedom School position.
In the community, Bailey is involved with the Licking County Wellness Coalition and Canal Market District. She also enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with her family and two golden retrievers. Bailey is happy hanging out with the YES Club students everyday and is glad she found a positive place where she can inspire and be inspired by youth.
