Who wants a child who is always well behaved, listens, room is always clean helps around the house without arguing, does homework without being asked…..You do….. Right?
I would love to be able to say that there is a program out there that will create this perfect child but unfortunately our children are not perfect. Guess what, neither are we! There are programs, however, that can give a parent some valuable tools to utilize as we raise our children to become the best they can be.
Our children are not trying to be bad, and they cannot be looked at as “little adults”. Children are simply developing their strengths and exercising an increasingly new independence as they grow up! Our job as a parent is to guide and nurture our children along the way which will help teach them how to stay safe and make good decisions.
Positive Parenting Program. This program includes 3 to 4 sessions, either one-on-one or group setting, and focuses on what is causing the problem and to build strategies to deal with it.
Two versions; one for ages 1 to 12, and the second is from 12—17 years. This program helps with children who have ADHD other special needs.
