Letter: Basketball tournament a fine tribute to Lou Mitchell

Mental Health America of Licking County would like to thank Coach Jeff Quackenbush and all of his volunteers for their overwhelming support of the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament in memory of Lou Mitchell on Saturday, July 18.

Coach Quackenbush’s vision was to show the youth of Licking County just how much athletics and this community meant to Lou Mitchell, and MHALC’s intent was to raise awareness for its Suicide Prevention Program. Working together, these goals were met as thirteen teams competed in honor of a great man and an important cause.

For more information about MHALC’s Suicide Prevention Program, visit our website at www.mhalc.org, or call Mental Health America of Licking County at (740) 522-1341.
